Today I got a little crazy and installed a new theme on my site. This new theme is called “FavePersonal”. This theme is being developed by the awesome designers at Crowd Favorite. It is a really cool theme, with many cool features that I can’t describe right now, but will be able to soon.
If you like the layout of my site, feel free to go to the FavePersonal signup page to get notified as soon as this new theme comes out.
You might see a little more content coming from this blog now that I have this theme, as I actually want people to come here now. Hopefully everyone (or at least a few people) enjoy.
Dude…just found your site, and must say it’s pretty sweet man. Too bad it’s tarnished with Husker stuff
. Anyways, its good to see you doing so well. I’m digging the theme you got going on here. Catch ya later!
@seanklein check it on the iPad. Sidebar reflows badly.
I saw Alex’s recent post on FavePersonal and signed up. Unfortunately, there’s not yet a lot of information. So I searched for FavePersonal and found this post.
I’d love for you to do sample status, link, gallery, quote, etc., posts so we can see how they look.
I’m also curious what these posts will look like if/when you change themes to something that doesn’t support post formats. For most themes, it’s just formatting. For FavePersonal, it looks like necessary info is stored in fields that won’t be retrieved by other themes.
Regardless, I’m looking forward to trying it out, when it’s available to the general public.
Hi Brent! Sorry for taking so long to reply. Unfortunately the post format data in WP 3.2 does get lost of the theme is changed, but I’m pretty sure that they are fixing that in 3.3.
The best place to see the different post formats is to look at Alex’s site (http://alexking.org). He uses all sorts of different post types on his site. Unfortunately all I do is a basic post every so often.
I really do love how easy it is to use this theme, and it should be released very very soon!
